StudioWex Representing TDSB @ Ontario Skills Competition 2024

In a crowded field of 15 teams from all across the TDSB, Wexford's team of Precious A. and Oscar P. have won a Gold Medal at the TDSB skills competition for 2D animation.

Both our students will be representing Wexford and the TDSB in the Ontario Skills Competition in May, for a chance to go to the Canadian National Skills Competition in Quebec City this year.

Over the past 3 years of our new Animation program, we have placed in the global top 10 highschools in the 24 hour animation competition, and have won Silver at the Ontario Skills Competition.  For more information about the SHSM program and how to participate in StudioWex and our new Animation Program - please visit www.wexfordcsa.ca/shsm.

May 27 - Relay for Life Event

The Grade 11 Leadership class will be hosting Wexford’s first ever Relay for Life Event on May 27th from 9:00 - 3:15.  Relay for Life is a fundraiser for the Canadian Cancer Society.  All students are encouraged to participate and we are looking for volunteers and donations from our parent community.  Parents and members of the community are welcome to participate.   $15 allows you to participate in day-long activities, a Relay for Life t-shirt and a luminary bag to decorate in honour of a loved one who has battled cancer.

You can register or donate at: relayforlife.ca/wexford or through the QR code.

Follow our instagram page @wexrelay4life for updates and more info.

If you have any questions or would like to volunteer, please contact Lindsay Craig (lindsay.craig@tdsb.on.ca).
