Principal
M. Kerr,
B.Sc., B.Ed., M.A.
The Toronto District School Board approved the transfer of Ms. M. Kerr, Supervising Principal of Safe Schools, North East, to the position of Principal at Wexford Collegiate School for the Arts, effective September, 2007 at the Board meeting held May 16, 2007.
Before moving to the Safe Schools office, Ms Kerr was Principal of Maplewood High School and Vice Principal at Sir Oliver Mowat C. I. She has been a Physical Education teacher as well as the Health and Physical Education Consultant for the former Scarborough Board of Education. In addition, she specialized in dealing with high risk, high needs students as a Section 23 Program Supervisor at Youthlink, a program for at risk students.
Ms Kerr has a Bachelor of Science from the University of Waterloo, a Bachelor of Education from the University of Toronto and a Masters of Art from Central Michigan University. In addition she has Specialists in Special Education and Physical and Health Education.

Vice Principal
Marisa Cocco,
B.A., B.Ed., M.Ed.
The Toronto District School Board approved the promotion of Ms. M. Cocco to the position of Vice Principal at Wexford Collegiate School for the Arts, effective September 2009, at the Board meeting held May 27, 2009.
Prior to her arrival at WexfordCSA, Ms. Cocco served as a guidance counsellor and as Acting Curriculum Leader of Student Services at York Mills C.I. She also previously held the position of Assistant Curriculum Leader of Moderns/French Immersion/Latin and taught French and Spanish for many years. Ms. Cocco has maintained a long involvement and interest in student leadership activities, transitions, and student success initiatives.
Ms. Cocco has both a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Education degree from the University of British Columbia and a Masters of Education degree from Gonzaga University. In addition, she has specialists in French and Guidance.

Vice Principal
Skip Phoenix,
B. Sc. [PE], B. Ed., M. Ed., Ed. D.
Skip Phoenix has been at WexfordCSA, as a Vice Principal since September of 2005. Prior to his appointment, he taught at West Hill Collegiate in science, mathematics, and physical education. Through coaching and education, he has demonstrated continuous dedication to students and to student success.
In between two time-frames of employment with the TDSB, Mr. Phoenix spent many years as an administrator, educator, and coach at the University of Toronto. While there, he also coached athletes to compete in many major international events, and worked tirelessly to assist students in advocating and taking responsibility for themselves. Having been a former Olympian, Skip has a great passion for achievement.
Mr. Phoenix received a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Guelph, a Bachelor of Education degree from the University of Western Ontario, and Master and Doctor of Education degrees from the University of Toronto.
